KALEEBA & CO
For the love of cloth, color, and community, Kaleeba has tapped into the fabric of her culture both literally and figuratively. Inspired by her travels throughout West Africa, The Brooklyn native, wife, and mother of two is NOT a designer but a Fine Arts artist who believes there is something about creating and tapping into the beauty of who you are. During her travels in West Africa, Kaleeba & Co found her inspiration as she immersed herself in her culture, she was amazed at the vibrancy of life. She was inspired by the boldness of this fashion not only with the fabrics but the richness of cuisine and the energetic spirit of the people. All these experiences brought her to this point, since Kaleeba was a little girl she had a natural affinity for design and fashion, she has always had a passion for designing and she was so inspired by the vividness of it all she poured herself into her creativeness.
